WSH’s Chocolate Chip Cookies

I haven’t even tasted these yet, but when I asked the Washington School House Hotel for the recipe for their peanut butter cookies, they said “you have to try these too“.

  • 1 pound of butter
  • cups sugar
  • cups brown sugar
  • 1 T vanilla
  • 4 eggs
  • 5 cups flour
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp baking soda
  • 2 cups milk chocolate chips
  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees
  • Mix butter and sugars
  • Add eggs and vanilla
  • Mix all dry ingredients with chocolate chips
  • Add to wet ingredients and mix just to combine
  • Scoop into balls and freeze dough before baking
  • Bake at 375 degrees for 6-7 minutes if convection oven; add 2-3 minutes if conventional
