Belgian Waffles

Ingredients
  • 4 eggs, separated
  • 2 cup flour
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 1/3 cup milk
  • 6 T butter, melted
  • Maple syrup for serving
  • extra points for fresh berries and whipped cream
Instructions
  • Beat egg whites until stiff, set aside
  • In mixing bowl, combine dry ingredients
  • In separate bowl, beat milk, egg yolks and melted butter
  • Add milk/egg/butter mixture to dry ingredients
  • Beat until smooth
  • Fold egg whites into batter
  • Cook using a Belgian waffle maker
